Epping Quaker Meeting draws people from beyond Epping.  We are easily accessible from Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell, Chingford, Harlow, Loughton, Ongar, South Woodford, Theydon Bois,  Thornwood,  Upshire, Waltham Abbey, Woodford  and Woodford Green.

Directions: Meeting house is about 400 metres along Hemnall Street – towards the northern end, near the Green, opposite council offices in High Street. Buses 19 20 339 (from Epping Station) or 541 (from Loughton). Station: Epping (Central Line), 2/3 mile. About 20 minutes walk from Epping Station. Walk up Kendal Avenue and turn right at Hemnall Street.

Parking:  Epping is often very busy. We offer this guide to parking so you can plan ahead using the map. Do check the parking signs for yourself!

There is no parking at all in Hemnall Street.

In the sloping forecourt of the Meeting House there are 4 spaces available during the day from Monday to Saturday. Evenings and Sundays there are 7 – 8 spaces at a squeeze.

In Grove Lane directly opposite the Meeting House, there are 9 parking spaces all day Sunday. Otherwise it is a 1 hour only zone.

20 spaces are available, Saturday and Sunday only, in the Council Offices Car Park off Holmefield Close.

At the entrance to Theydon Grove there are about 7 spaces available to non-residents in the evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays.

In the nearest part of Hartland Road, spaces are only available in the evenings and Saturday and Sunday.

On either side of Epping High Street, parking is restricted to 1 hour, but can be all day on Sunday.

In Kendal Avenue and the rest of Hartland Road parking is not allowed Monday–Friday, 10–11am.

The two public car parks are reached by turning down St John’s Road at the mini roundabout by St John’s Church. Alleyways take you back to the High Street.

Cottis Lane Pay and Display is Short Stay, but there is no charge Saturday or Sunday.

Bakers Lane Pay and Display is Long Stay, and there is no charge Saturday or Sunday.
